Finally

I’ve ideated this creative outlet for so long. I am so happy to finally start typing.

Christopher’s in the other room getting dinner ready for Taco Tuesday. We either eat just the two of us or, our favorite, share the weekly meal with friends. Tonight we’re hosting a double date with our friends Philippe and Sarah. On the agenda is to recap their wedding we just attended in Brazil (Sarah’s home country).

My dinner prep involved the easy parts — getting out the chips and guac, setting the table and lighting the candles. Christopher’s happy place is cooking and I’m the lucky, daily beneficiary. No complaints here.

Using the rest of my evenings this week to tinker with this website that I set up almost a year ago. Looking forward to sharing more. But for now, off to give Christopher some moral support with dinner and to make some Caipirinhas.
