Setting the stage

I have no idea where this will take me, but I’ve had an urge to organize memories and muses. I want to document weekend getaways, cozy corners, my favorite cocktails, hiking spots, date nights, food joints, girl trips, design inspirations and ever evolving rituals. I’m writing in these pages in order to eventually look back and conclude that this was a funny, tragic, loving, embarrassing, transformative and beautiful life.

Or more likely, on a less grandiose scale, Hearne Hideouts is where friends and family and soon-to-be friends can take a peek at some travel guides and vision boards. I certainly will enjoy looking back on my decorating choices, outfits, trips and some delicious meals when I remembered that ‘phone eats first.’

A decade back, I started a tumblr. I loved “blogging” but also enjoyed getting paid by my school’s International Studies Department to promote the study abroad programs I was on. To this day, it’s so fun to look back and remember specifics about my first trip to Europe and New Zealand, respectfully. Looking at this tumblr again has inspired me to document my most recent trip aboard. Posting soon…
